@Chris: Honestly I am a bit disappointed with the phone out-of-the-box. But I don't want to pass a final judgement before I tweak and hack around with it, as I said I will write a full review.

That was the first time I've seen an OpenMoko other than in pictures. Does the boot time get any better or is that normal amount of time to get up and running? Looks like a good piece of equipment and i hope to get one myself if you think it's worth it.
